Overview

YooVee CRS2L combines ultraviolet (UV) and UV-Ozone to create Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP). For AOP, photons in the UV spectrum convert ozone in the presence of water to oxygen and peroxide. The peroxide then reacts with the ozone to form the hydroxyl radical with a removal efficiency typically higher than the aggregate removal efficiencies of ozone and UV alone.

Ultraviolet Light technology irradiates pathogens, destroys chloramines and flocculates algae. YooVee CRS2L is NATA laboratory certified to a kill rate of 99.9% at the flow rate of 180L/min. The production of ozone and hence AOP assists with organic oxidation due to the reaction with hydroxyl radicals, molecular ozone and direct photolysis. Since ozone absorbs UV light at 254 nm, low pressure UV (LPUV) lamps are used.

YooVee CRS2L is a powerful, versatile and efficient ultraviolet sterilisation system to economically sanitise and aerate water in many applications. YooVee CRS2L creates ozone in aerated water removing many of the hazards associated with ozone production.

The HiFlo Injector / Aerator is essential to provide oxygen injection or aeration and the unique clear chamber provides a hydrodynamic water mixing action. This turbid action also limits the shading or blinding effect small particles have, preventing the UV light form irradiating pathogens.

Construction of the YooVee CRS2L reaction chamber is polycarbonate with stainless steel fixings, giving high resistance to aggressive and saline fluids. It is totally weatherproof, marine grade 316 stainless steel fasteners are used in conjunction with silicon seals for extended life and durability.

Lamp technology in the YooVee CRS2L is low pressure, high output with hard quartz employed in both the ultraviolet lamp and the quartz sleeve. The Ozone producing lamp is required for this model (non-ozone generating lamps are available for specific water treatment applications).

Powerful 185/254nm UV light destroys 99.9% of all water borne pathogens (germs) at a flow rate of 180L/min at 200kPa. Manifold for larger flows. (NATA Certified).

Tough and resistant polycarbonate chamber allows for safe visual monitoring of the UV lamp, aeration and water quality.

Unique chamber design increases turbulence forcing water to pass close to the UV light 15 times enhancing UV irradiation. The unique Hydrodynamic flow reduces particulate matter from shading or blinding the pathogenic micro-organisms from the UV light. Making it suitable for non filtered and high turbidity water treatment applications.

The HiFlo Injector allows for inline aeration. This combined with the chamber's unique hydrodynamic mixing action allows for ozone and other chemicals to be injected and fully dispersed into the treated water.

The electrical control box and chamber assembly are weatherproof for outdoor installations.

Installation is easy and completed by mounting the YooVee chamber and control box with brackets supplied. Plumb the water inlet & outlet before plugging in the power supply to finish.
